Financial Aid Workshops and Seminars are a vital source of information for the families of students who are planning to attend college. Here KAPA invites Certified College Planners and offers their guidance in some key steps in organizing successful financial aid planning for their next step in their child’s education and success.
KAPA WHS offers a family night for incoming high school freshman families, connects high school upper-class students with the incoming freshman students, and provides Q & A session for parents and students.
KAPA WHS organizes an annual networking night for KAPA alumni and students to provide mentoring opportunities for the students in Walnut High School.
The Annual Fundraising Yard Sale is our major fundraiser for the year, raising funds for the school donation and to help run KAPA’s events. All items sold at the fundraiser are donated and the event is run entirely by KAPA WHS volunteers.
The Annual WHS Staff Christmas Banquet is a day designated for the WHS teachers and staff to come together and celebrate the joy of the Christmas season. During this time of festivities, KAPA parents and volunteers serve Korean food as well as showcase Korean traditional performing arts. The Annual WHS Staff Christmas banquet is a great way to thank the staff for their hard work and dedication to our students!
KAPA WHS has a Youth Volunteer Committee coordinates volunteer opportunities for Korean families and students. The committee serves the needs of the community in Walnut on behalf of KAPA WHS. We are looking forward to serving communities with many exciting opportunities and programs. Through numerous volunteering events, we aspire to come together with our communities and schools.
KAPA WHS is a certifying organization authorized to issue the Presidential Volunteer Service Awards for volunteer service with KAPA WHS.
KAPA WHS 청소년 자원봉사 단체는 KAPA WHS 한인 학부모회에 소속되어 있으며, 월넛과 주변 지역 사회를 후원하고 한인 가족들과 학생들에게 자원 봉사의 기회를 제공합니다. KAPA WHS 한인 학부모회는 대통령 봉사상을 신청할 수 있는 자격을 지닌 단체입니다.
KAPA WHS believes that the strength of our organization comes from the involvement and leadership of our community members, particularly young people. KAPA WHS boasts several robust youth programs that seek to develop progressive young people.
